Henry Ryde

Henry is director and national head of built heritage, townscape and archaeology, leading a team acting across all sectors covering sale, acquisition, valuation, management, planning and development matters. 

Henry specialises in the analysis of the significance and setting of heritage assets and articulation of potential development impacts on this, providing detailed strategic advocacy to clients. He also provides Townscape and Visual Impact advocacy on projects.

Active in the property industry from 2008, Henry's work typically includes advising and acting on behalf of HNW individuals, agents, government bodies, asset managers, developers, trusts and companies, supporting their ambitions and finding solutions to these within the property industry.

This requires expertise in a range of services including planning and development strategy, site appraisals, designation management and rebuttal, design advice, applications and negotiation, as well as appearance as a witness at appeal for built heritage matters.
